Important

For complete kiosk lockdown, you need Device Owner mode. See the full installation guide for detailed instructions.

1Quick Install (Basic Mode)

For testing or personal use. Installation in 5 minutes.

  1. 1Download APK from the button above
  2. 2Transfer to your Android tablet
  3. 3Install the APK (enable "Unknown sources" if asked)
  4. 4Open FreeKiosk and configure your URL
  5. 5Start kiosk mode and you're done!

2Advanced Install (Device Owner)

For complete device lockdown with no system interruptions. Recommended for production use.

Quick Steps

  1. 1Factory reset your tablet (important!)
  2. 2Do NOT add Google account after reset
  3. 3Enable USB debugging in Developer options
  4. 4Install FreeKiosk APK
  5. 5Connect to PC via USB
  6. 6
    Run ADB command:adb shell dpm set-device-owner com.freekiosk/.DeviceAdminReceiver
  7. Done! Complete kiosk lockdown active
